my crowning achievement of 2 months of work to re-create a classic Nightcrawler cover, but with a Boys twist. i’m making a print of it one day and can hopefully get it to the cast. they seemed to like it on Insta and twitter!

I don’t think Skurge gets enough love. Karl plays him fantastically. Though he’s mostly the comic relief, you can see he’s at least conflicted. I feel he redeemed himself in the end and he just needs a hug.

I thought about making it as detailed and clean as the last one, but there was something I liked about the messy red lines I was using to map out the drawing.

so i’ve been wanting to make this for so long- as it’s an image i’ve always had in my head and i think i’m at a place where i have the skills to communicate it. it’s a terrible thing that this event sparked my future pursuit in rock music, comics, and art with the dawn of My Chemical Romance from the ashes of this tragedy.
